2. International Symposium of the Collaborative Research Center 765, October 18-19, 2012, in Berlin
Multivalent architectures
2INSY 2012, the 2nd International Symposium of the Collaborative Research Center (Sonderforschungs- bereich) 765 on "Multivalency and Chemistry and Biology" - will be held 18-19 October 2012 at the Freie Universität Berlin in Germany.
2INSY brings together scientists from different research areas, focussing on multivalency and offers eight exciting plenary and invited lectures on multivalency-driven architectures, functions and action principles from different research fields for inspiration and discussion of future projects. Additionally, the SFB will present its collaborative projects, and review the results from the last five years during the first and now successfully extended SFB funding period.
The goal of the symposium will be to stimulate a critical evaluation of the results and concepts, to develop potential and feasible extension and changes within the projects, and finally promote new concepts and ideas. This will all eventually lead to a more comprehensive understanding of multivalent interactions in life and materials science.
All 2INSY 2012 participants have the opportunity to present a poster describing their work.
